Roger O’Donnell of The Cure composes thing of beauty for The Putto

We continue to repost the adventures of The Putto (after the site was taken down by hackers) and recently re-uploaded our ‘Disintegratio‘ story with guest art by Raluca Moldovan.

The story pays homage to The Cure’s Disintegration album.

Whilst writing the piece we made contact with Roger O’Donnell of The Cure. Alongside his work in the British supergroup, Roger has produced an excellent body of solo work.

Taking a huge long shot we got in touch with Roger and asked if he would compose a piece for The Cure themed issue and, much to our amazement and awe, the stars were aligned in the heavens and he agreed to do so.

To hear the beautiful piece – appropriately titled ‘Evensong’ – simply launch our pop up player or click on our Soundtrack page and follow the instructions.

We encourage our readers to find out more about Roger’s latest musical projects at his website: http://www.rogerodonnell.com/

For the very best news about The Cure visit Chain of Flowers.

Thanks again to Roger for his kindness. We look forward to seeing him play with The Cure this December in London. They never fail to deliver.

“Our greatest glory is not in never getting hacked, but in eventually figuring out what to do to get back online after we get hacked.”

MOTHER PRAGUE

And so, dear readers, The Sorrowful Putto of Prague returns to the hallowed pages of the interwebs.

Due to the slings and arrows of outrageous Chinese hackers, The Putto was unfortunately removed from the public domain for some time. A combination of technical ignorance on the creator’s part (as well as the claws of procrastination) meant things took a little while longer than expected to sort out.

We are finally back and welcome in our open digital arms those who knew us previously and extend an equally hospitable greeting to those coming to our pages for the first time.

We begin our Lazarus like return by starting to republish all our previous stories. We also republish our wonderful music soundtrack including gems from the likes of Roger O’Donnell (The Cure).

Please go forth and help us spread the world.
